Rycon was founded in 1989 as a general contractor which specialized in interior contracting projects. As the reputation of the company grew, so did the project sizes; quickly leading into additions to buildings as well as “stand alone” projects.
From Rycon’s beginning as an “Interiors Specialist”, there continues to be a strong culture of interiors capabilities that runs throughout the company. In this regard, Rycon is divided into three groups to accommodate an Owner’s needs, goals and expectations:

Building Group: handles projects up to $50 million.
Special Projects Group: aggressively pursues, prices and completes short duration, fast-track projects that are typically interior retrofits under $3 million.
Casework & Millwork Division: a 7,000 SF cabinet and casework shop that works hand-in-hand with both groups.
